About the event
Despite being one of Europe's smallest countries, Belgium is the 11th largest carbon polluter in the EU.
Belgium also has one of the largest carbon footprints in the EU, producing the equivalent of 9.7 metric tons of CO₂ per capita.
The target reduction of greenhouse gas emissions to less than 2 tonnes of CO₂e per person per year is necessary, to reach net zero in 2050 is necessary.
That means that we need to divide by 6 our emissions.
This workshop offers a unique opportunity to explore the key aspects of carbon footprinting, focusing on understanding the significant impacts of our daily actions on the environment.
Discover the current carbon footprint of an average Belgian citizen and uncover the necessary steps to achieve carbon neutrality.
Be part of a transformative experience where you'll gain insights, practical knowledge, and actionable strategies to reduce your carbon emissions effectively. Together, let's embark on a journey towards a more sustainable and environmentally conscious lifestyle.
Mark your calendars and stay tuned for more details on how you can participate in shaping a cleaner, greener tomorrow!
